Newtown to offer seminar for female entrepreneurs

A two-day seminar for women-owned businesses will take place at the Homewood Suites in Newtown.

The WomenPreneur's Fall Seminar is an event where female business owners can participate in collaborative creation sessions and hear from knowledgeable presenters. The theme for the seminar is From Feasible to Irresistible. Several professional speakers will attend the event, including Cathy Agasar, Sue Begent, and Lynne Williams. There will also be presentations held by Suzanne Tregenza Moore and Megan Weisheipl.

Those who attend the event will be given a workbook filled with session materials and exclusive access to downloadable information. The topics covered during the conference include making LinkedIn profiles, building a web presence, and using Canva. Guests will also learn useful marketing skills and be taught how to use nutrition to improve their energy and productivity. Participants will have an opportunity to meet with other attendees at the conference on the first day of the event.

The fall seminar will be on Wednesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 19. The cost to attend the women's conference will be $345 per person. Registration is required to take part in the event. Those interested in staying at the Homewood Suites for the conference will receive a discount. Female business owners who go to seminars such as this may use business card printing to make materials to share during networking sessions.
