The Newtown Business Association (NBA) will soon be presenting its Welcome Day 2016 Newtown Street Fair with Flair. This annual event promises to have enjoyable activities for everyone.
The fun will include music, performance, and dance on the venue’s three entertainment stages, along with the annual Rising Star Singing Competition. Kids will have fun in their own Kids Fun Zone and can make creative crafts. Older attendees will get to play games, collect giveaways, and buy art and designer crafts. Food items will be available for purchase from NBA member restaurants and eateries.
The Colonial Re-enactment Militia will have an encampment with campfire cooking, musket firing, tents, and demonstrations. A canon will be on display too.
All attendees will want to enter the drawing for the Grand Prize, which is an Apple Watch. This will be done by obtaining a passport form and getting it filled out by participating NBA God Sponsors. Each sponsor will initial its corresponding box, and 15 initials will be required to enter the Grand Prize drawing, although 10 initials will be enough to enter for other prizes.
NBA local businesses and nonprofits will have booths on the site to present their products, services, and causes. To be sure to have information available to share with others, everyone will want to get their digital Business Cards updated before the event.
