Newtown businesses to present Easter Egg Hunt

Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner, which means it will soon be time for the Newtown Business Association’s (NBA) annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Kids of all ages (including adults and grandparents) are invited to join in. To make this a good experience for everyone, kids will be divided into age groups and the adults and grandparents will have their own hunt following the children’s hunt. Sam’s Club will be donating the candy in the eggs, and members of the NBA will be donating over 500 prizes.

Slips found inside some of the eggs will describe the prize and direct the lucky finder to pick it up at the prize table. Goodies to be claimed might include gift cards, gold coins, free passes, Books, gift baskets, and baked goodies.

Parents will want to remember to bring cameras to capture the event. Pictures taken with the Easter Bunny or shots of the kids (or adults for that matter) finding eggs might make interesting Easter Holiday Cards for next year.

The hunt will be located at Pickering Manor North Field, 226, N. Lincoln Ave., Newtown on Saturday, March 19. The Easter Bunny Meet and Greet will begin at 8:30 am, with the hunt starting promptly at 9:00 am. Everyone is encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item for the Lower Bucks Food Bank.
