The Newtown Business Association will be hosting the 2017 Easter Egg Hunt early in April.
In order to make the hunt safe, especially for the littlest egg hunters, groups will be arranged according to age. The grandparent egg hunt will be the last activity of the day.
Sam’s Club will be donating the candy in the colorful plastic eggs. Over 500 eggs will contain special prizes donated by members of the NBA, and eggs will contain little prizes such as gold coins.
For those prizes that cannot fit into an egg, egg slips will available. The slips have the name of the prize and the age group for which they are intended. Some of the prizes may be gift cards, free passes, free classes, Books and cupcakes. Other prizes may be tickets to museums, and movies and gift baskets. Children’s prizes may be toys, T-Shirts, and stuffed animals. Adult prizes may include makeup, jewelry and golf accessories.
An Easter Bunny Meet and Greet precede the hunt. Parents can get pictures of their children with the big rabbit. These pictures can be made into prints that will go nicely into Holiday Cards.
The Newtown Business Association Egg Hunt 2017 will be held April 8 at Goodnoe School, 298 Frost Lane, Newtown. The Easter Bunny Meet and Greet will begin at 8:30 am, and the Hunt will begin at 9:00 am.
