Newtown-based businesses and consumers alike are invited to attend Newtown Business Association’s upcoming 8th Annual Expo.
This year’s event is called ‘Newtown Business Expo and Culinary Fair 2014’. Over 70 restaurants, trades and businesses will be on hand to distribute culinary samples and information and more than 700 guests are expected to attend.
Local chefs will be talking to the crowd as they pass out their wares. Altogether, 11 local markets and restaurants will be offering samples of everything from smoothies and pizza to bakery items. Each vendor will be giving away door prizes and other freebies. The Grand prize will be a plethora of Gift Certificates to local restaurants and markets totaling over $1,000. Also, McCaffery’s Supermarket will be awarding a $250 Gift Certificate. Entry Forms will be available at their local locations.
The NBA offers local businesses an opportunity to network with other members, and to get free advertising listings and access to local community events. It also offers access to its membership database, which allows the user to post job openings, discounts, and promotions of special events. Businesses are sure to be getting their digital Business Cards updated, along with regular business card printing before the event.
