Business networking on the cards in January

Newtown locals interested in meeting business owners and leaders in the local community are invited to attend the January Business Card Exchange

The informal meeting is where people come together to talk, exchange Business Cards, and network. Everyone in the local area is welcome to attend the meeting, whether they are businesspeople or not.

The meeting is being sponsored by the Newtown Business Association (NBA), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting business and the economic welfare of the community. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, voice opinions, be introduced to others, and share information on an informal basis with other business people in the community. Those who own a local business, or who conduct business in the local area on a regular basis, and who are not already members of the NBA will be invited to join.

Those planning to attend may want to have custom Business Cards printed beforehand, or even have digital Business Cards made for sharing with others. Refreshments will be served too.

The Exchange will take place Wednesday, January 13 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Temperance House Hotel, 5 S. State Street, Newtown. There is no cost to attend, though some may want to come early and have dinner in the Temperance House Dining Room, where there will be live music provided by a local artist.
