Danbury locals and other classical music lovers are in for a treat, as the music group PrimaTrio will be coming to town next month offering musical renditions of both popular and lesser known tunes by both modern and renaissance composers.
PrimaTrio is made up of Anastasia Dedik on piano, Boris Allakhverdyan on clarinet, and Gulia Gurevich on violin. The trio will be joined by guest cellist Adrian Duarov for the performance next week.
PrimaTrio has been together since the three met at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Since graduating, and after winning the National Chamber Music Competition’s grand prize in 2007, the members have traveled around the world performing at places such as the Kennedy Center and Italy’s Emilia Romagna Festival.
They tell audiences that they hope to not just entertain, but to inspire interest in music regardless of genre. Those who plan to attend may want to make sure their digital Business Cards are up to date as the event promises to be an excellent opportunity for networking.
The concert will be held November 16 at Western Connecticut State University, Westside campus, 43 Lake Avenue, Danbury, starting at 7:30 pm and running for approximately two hours. Admission will be $40 per adult, which will also grant the buyer a Danbury Concert Association membership. Parking will be free of charge.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
