Danbury will be welcoming summer with a summer music series, and a festival coming in June.
Danbury's Summer Concert Series 2025 will kick off June 6th with Irish rock, June 20th the audience will be treated to a Juneteenth concert featuring R&B and soul music, and blue grass will be played on July 11th. That will be followed by rhythm, soul and blues on July 18th, and 60's and 70's tunes on July 25th.
The August line up will include folk-pop and rock-country on the 1st, rock, funk and soul jams on the 8th and a Led Zeppelin tribute band will end the series on the 15th.
All concerts will perform from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at CityCenter Green, 1 Ives Street.
Downtown Danbury's Main Street will certainly be festive with its annual Danbury Street Fair where over 50 vendors and artists line the street selling handmade items such as watercolors, acrylics, oils, drawing, pastels and mixed media. Food vendors will vend festival-type snacks like hot dogs, burgers, deserts and drinks. Small businesses have been invited to join the food vendors and artists in getting their products out to the public.
Sometimes a small business will ask Print shops to create a Logo Design or a graphic design to put on their Business Cards beforehand.
Local bands will be playing continuously on the venue's three stages.
This year's Danbury Street Festival will be Saturday, June 14th from noon to 6:00 pm between West Street and White Street.
