Three summer shows still on the Ives Concert Park schedule

Danbury residents can look forward to the three summer events still being scheduled at Ives Concert Park, 3 Lake Avenue Ext.

At the end of July, the 9th Annual WestSide Reggae Festival will have food, music by many nationally acclaimed reggae bands and solo artists, and activities for the kids. The event will open at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 25 and close around 10:30 pm.

On Saturday, August 1, the venue will be turned over to the 3rd Annual Big Blocks & BBQ Auto Show. Vintage autos and motorbikes will be on display. Live entertainment will take place during the event and food will be available for purchase from Bad Ass Grills. This event will open at 10:00 am and end around 5:00 pm.

On Sunday, August 9, El Centro Civico Ecuatoriano De Greater Danbury will host its annual Ecuadorian Festival at the park. This colorful event will feature authentic food and music from the South American country. There will be lots of dancing, crafts for sale, games and folklore and cultural discussions and displays. It will begin at 11:00 am and wind down around 9:00 pm.
