For Danbury locals, and those in the surrounding area, it’s time to get into the swing of spring with St. Gregory’s May Days—a New England Country Fair.
Guest can see local crafts, take part in an auction, or eat as much as they can. It’s a fun for the whole family event and is on its way in just a couple of weeks.
St. Gregory’s May Days is an event held every year, with the express purpose of getting people out of the house and seeing others in the community, and of course doing it with family, friends, and anyone else they care to bring along.
This year there will be vendors offering arts, crafts, and of course fine New England cuisine. There will also be St. Gregory’s Quarter Auction—where those that wish to participate purchase a paddle, which has an assigned number on it that is used to compete with others at an auction. Bids will start at a quarter for ever $5.
Flyer printing has been carried out to list all of the vendors participating in the auctions—they can be picked up an hour before the auctions begin.
The Fair will be held Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (10-4), May 16 and 17, at St Gregory’s, 85 Great Plain Road, Danbury. There will also be a Classic Car Show all day on Sunday.
