RPMS Meal Train hosts charity dinner

Danbury’s Rogers Park Middle School will be hosting its annual RPMS Meal Train charity fundraising dinner for its Meal Train program.

Single admission $50 tickets will include the dinner, dessert, raffle, and a silent auction. Table sponsorships will be $100 and Companies That Care tables for 10 will be $500. This last sponsorship also includes 50 raffle tickets, recognition on the event’s website and a Logo Design on Signs on tables during the event. All tickets are available on the Rogers Park Middle School Meal Train Charity Dinner website.

Local businesses are donating items such as baskets and gift cards to the raffle.

The Meal Train program provides weekend meals for the school’s food-insecure students and household supplies not covered by food Stamps. Besides providing food, the program has a mission to help adolescents learn how to be self-sufficient and independent in order to break the generational food-insecurity cycle.

Interested parties who cannot attend the dinner can go to The RPMS Meal Train Amazon website and buy food items and gift cards that may be directly donated to the cause.

Those interested in charity events such as this one occasionally head to flyer printing companies and put Flyers up in their neighborhoods and at their work sites.

RPMS Meal Train Charity Dinner has been scheduled for Friday, May 20 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Anthony’s Lake Club Catering, 10 Christopher Avenue.
