Children can enjoy four Easter-themed events coming in early April.
Ballard Park, 485 Main Street, in Ridgefield will hold a Free Flashlight Egg Hunt for children in grades 3 to 5 on Friday, April 3 beginning at 8:00 pm. Kids must bring their own baskets and flashlights.
On Saturday, April 4 from 11:00 am until 11:15 am, Ballard Park will have the Easter Bunny and the younger kids hunting for eggs.
To welcome the Easter Bunny here in town, Stew Leonard’s will be holding a Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, April 5 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. The Easter Bunny and Stew Leonard characters will be available for photos. Tickets are $14 for guests 12 years old and up and $12 for kids ages 3 to 11, and registration must be made online.
The 16th annual Easter Egg Hunt Egg-Stravaganza will have children collecting eggs containing candy, toys and board games. The two grand prizes will be $50 gift cards from the Pottery Factory and the Lego Store. Costumed characters including Cynthia Chick, Clover Cow and Daphine Duck will be meeting and greeting the little hunters afterward. The free Easter Egg Hunt Egg-Stravaganza will take place on Tuesday, April 7 from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Stew Leonards, 99 Federal Road.
Pictures taken at events such as these often go to local Print shops to be duplicated for relatives and friends.
