Two outdoor events have been scheduled in the area for July – the 2022 Westside Reggae Festival and the 2022 LAC Golf Classic.
The Lebanon-American Club of Danbury will host its annual LAC Golf Classic on July 18th, from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. Registration will begin at 11:30 am, with the tee-off beginning at 1:00 pm. Groups of up to four golfers can sign up for $175.
Registration will include a cart, green fees, lunch, and dinner, along with long drive, hole-in-one, and closest-to-the-pin contests. Participants will also receive gift packages and prizes.

This year’s LAC Annual Golf Classic will be held at the Richter Park Golf Course, 100 Aunt Hack Road.
The 2022 Westside Reggae Festival, celebrating 60 years of Jamaica’s independence, will be taking place on Saturday, July 30th, starting at 1:00 pm. The family-friendly event will offer both food and activities.
This year’s performers include the Black Soil Band, Baby Cham, Maxi Priest, and Tarrus Riley. Other performers will be Anthem Band & Mario Cheef and Derrick Barnett. Jenny Boom Boom will host, and DJ Outlaw will emcee the music.
Advanced lawn tickets are $35, advanced reserved seats are $45, and advanced reserve front are $55. Tickets for kids 12 and under are $25.
The 2022 Westside Reggae Festival will be held at Ives Concert Park, 43 Lake Avenue Extension.
