For something a little different this Valentine’s Day, Danbury couples are invited to attend the “Cupid Gets Funny for Valentine’s Day” performance by Dan LaRosa.
The hypnotist and comedian has planned an evening of comedy and romance, with complementary chocolates adding a little flavor to the proceedings.
According to a write-up on the venue’s website, volunteers from the audience may believe they are invisible, or be under the impression of being aliens or ballerinas. The topic for the evening will be romance and, appropriately for Valentine’s Dat, love will be the main focus of the evening. There may be musical serenades, declarations of love, or maybe even a marriage proposal – perhaps offering an ideal opportunity for couples to take photos for later poster printing.
Larosa is a motivational stage hypnotist who has presented shows and workshops all over Europe, the U.S., and the Caribbean. He is a certified master hypnotist and one of only 60 professional hypnotists to be awarded the ‘Order of the Braid’, which is the highest award given by the National Guild of Hypnotists. This award is given for a lifetime of service, dedication, and outstanding achievement.
The performance is scheduled for this Saturday night, February 14 at 8:00 pm at the Palace Danbury, 165 Main Street, Danbury. Further info can be found on the venue’s site.
