For Danbury locals looking for something fun and different to do this Halloween season, the Sunshine Kids Scavenger Hunt is to be presented by the Irish Cultural Center in just over a week.
Heralded as the first annual event of its kind, the hunt looks set to be a fun afternoon with family and friends. Those who would like to participate are encouraged to sign up as groups of family members or friends. Those in the groups will work together to figure out clues along the way to the final destination. Proceeds from the event will go to The Sunshine Kids Foundation—a nonprofit organization that helps youngsters with cancer. There will be prizes awarded for winners in different categories. Attendees may wish to use the event as an opportunity to trade digital Business Cards.
The event will start at the Cultural Center and will take the hunters around the local area, where they will collect objects as clues. Afterwards, all participants will meet back at the Cultural Center later in the evening for music and dinner. In addition to prizes, there will also be a raffle.
The scavenger hunt will be held Saturday, October 11, starting at 1:00 pm. Teams can sign up using a form on the Cultural Center website. Each team will need to pay an entry fee of $20, with which dinner is included.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
