Three local charity golf tournaments are scheduled at golf courses in Danbury over the next couple of months.
On July 12, from 11:30 am until 8:00 pm, the 2021 LAC Annual Golf Classic will take place in Richter Park Golf Course, 100 Aunt Hack Road. Tee time will be 1:00 pm. Registration amenities will include cart, green fees, lunch, dinner, closest to the pin and long drive awards, a hole-in-one contest, prizes, and gift packages.
Rizzo Companies Arthritis Foundation will be holding its annual golf tournament in early August. Golfers can enjoy a golf cannon, putting contest, complimentary cigars, and giveaways and refreshments on the course. Breakfast and dinner are included in registration fees. Apparel with the event graphic design will be available.
Registration and breakfast will run from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, when play begins with a shotgun start. The Rizzo Companies Arthritis Foundation Golf Tournament will take place at the Ridgewood Country Club, 119 Franklin Street Ext. on Monday, August 2.
Finally, the Danbury War Memorial 12th Annual Golf Tournament is on August 18 at Richter Park Golf Course, and will have $175 individual registration fees with foursomes at $700. Fees will include cart and greens fees, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive contests will get cash prizes, buffet lunch, and buffet dinner. The top three finishers will also receive cash prizes. A car will be awarded for a hole-in-one.
