Danbury venue to hold spring workshops

An organization in Danbury will be presenting spring wreath making, furniture restoration and terrarium building workshops in the upcoming months.

The first of these workshops, all held at the thrift store Danbury ReStore, will be the Spring Wreath Making Workshop. For $40, attendees may create their own unique wreaths using the materials provided by the host. Beverages and a charcuterie board will also be provided.

This two-hour event will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on Thursday, March 14.

On April 20, Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, the organization behind Danbury ReStore, will host a free furniture restoration Workshop called The Art of Natural Wood. Attendees will discover how to make handcrafted artwork from old furniture using the Natural Wood Technique. A food truck will be onsite.

Teachers at workshops like this often have Business Cards available for those wishing to sign up for future training sessions.

The furniture restoration workshop will be held Saturday, April 20 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.

Lastly, a terrarium workshop will take place in mid-April. Admission will be $45, and all necessary materials and instruction will be provided for attendees to create their own indoor terrariums. Beverages and snacks will also be provided.

The terrarium workshop will take place on April 17, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

All workshops will be held at Danbury ReStore, 51 Austin Street, Danbury.
