Danbury supports charities with dinner and fest

Those here in Danbury wishing to support charities and have a good time doing it may opt to attend a charity dinner and a kids fest coming in May.

This will be the 10th year for Danbury Kids Fest, which this year will offer educational, entertaining, and informative experiences for the whole family, and will be a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

The $12 admission will include inflatable games like football, baseball, and soccer challenges, slides and bounce houses thanks to Seidi's Bounce Houses Rentals, stage performances, and face painting presented by Happy Cheeks. The first 300 kids to enter the venue will get a chance to win prizes by spinning the prize wheel.

Danbury Kids Fest 2024 will take place Sunday, May 5 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Danbury Sports Dome, 25 Shelter Rock Lane.

Adults may enjoy an evening of dinner, raffles, and a chance to support RPMS mission to provide groceries and essential household items not provided by food Stamps for food-insecure students by attending the RPMS Meal Train Charity Dinner.

General admission is $60 and Companies that Care tables are $600. The latter option comes with 50 raffle tickets and company Logo Design and advertisements on the event's website, as well as at the event.

The RPMS Meal Train Charity Dinner will take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, May 10, at Anthony's Lake Club Catering, 10 Christopher Columbus Avenue.
