The 2020 Greater Danbury St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held the Sunday after St. Patrick’s Day. Organizers claim that this will be the “grandest parade ever” to commemorate the parade’s 25th Silver Anniversary.
The parade will begin at Main Street’s St. Peter’s R.C. Church. It will continue on West Street until it reaches 6 Lake Avenue, the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center. Parade participants are encouraged to wear their Irish finery. Marching units are to get introductory banner printing done in order to have Banners ready to introduce them to the spectators.
Parade participants will want to stick around afterward for live Irish music, fun, and food including corned beef sandwiches. Marchers will each receive a free hot dog and soda.
Along with the event graphic design on the fronts, the backs of $25 parade T-Shirts will sport the Logo Design of Platinum sponsors that donate $1,000, as well as Tee Shirt sponsors.
Other sponsor levels include $75 Goodie Bag (Business Cards put into Bags), $150 T-shirt, $250 Bronze (for small parade sign), $350 Silver (for medium parade sign), $500 Gold (for large parade sign). All sponsors from bronze up to platinum will also get advertising exposure on event online, radio, T.V., websites and social media posts.
The Greater Danbury St. Patrick’s Day Parade is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 22.
