The 2019 17th annual Ann’s Place Festival of Trees will be filling the Danbury Sports Dome, 25 Shelter Rock Lane, for three days of holiday activity.
On Friday, November 22, there will be Opening Night Mistletoe & Martinis evening where guests can preview the lighted trees and taste special dishes catered by Somethings Fishy. There will also be an auction. Entertainment will be the Band Central’s Rock & Soul Revue.
The Dome will be twinkling with over 100 holiday trees (which will be raffled off). Artisans will be selling their original items, such as handmade quilts in the Quilters’ Corner, and a Holiday Marketplace with vendors offering other merchandise for the upcoming holidays. Passersby at events such as this often gather Business Cards from those vendors they especially like.
A free Children’s Winter Village will have bounce houses, temporary tattoos, face painting, characters, and Santa. On Saturday at 11:00 am, and again at 1:00 pm, Tom Pesce will present his magic show.
On the Saturday night, the event will feature the Taps & Trees Craft Beer Fest from 6:30 until 10:30 pm. Along with craft brew sampling, the event will have pub grub from Walsh Catering, and Dan’s Garage Band and Billy Michael’s Cavalcade & Fiddling.
Festival of Trees will be from November 22 through November 24 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm daily.
Proceeds will go to Ann’s Place, which provides wellness programs and counselling for cancer patients.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
