Danbury looks ahead to leisure and home show

The Greater Danbury Chamber of Commerce, and many Danbury businesses that sell home or leisure products and services, are getting ready for the Annual Home & Leisure Show, which will be coming in the first part of March.

More than 60,000 attendees are expected to experience this oldest and largest Connecticut home show. With Danbury being an affluent community, businesses know the spending potential generated by this event could be substantial.

Businesses represented will be selling and displaying insulation, custom cabinets, building supplies, sunrooms, wood stoves, spas, and pools. Others will be discussing and displaying decks, awnings, cooling and heating services, windows, and doors. Mortgage companies, banks, financial planners, and homebuilders will be on hand to discuss their services and pass out Business Cards. Many companies at these home shows often give out Promotional Products such as promotional Pens and Mugs, too.

Several booths will have activities and demonstrations in order to display their products or services, some of these in areas like cooking, martial arts, and dancing. Others will offer kids’ activities and DIY projects for home improvement.

The 59th Home & Leisure Show will be at the Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Avenue on Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm, and again on Sunday, March 10, from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
