In late July, our annual Danbury International Festival will be returning to Downtown Danbury right after the 3rd annual San Gennaro Festival.
The Danbury International Festival will be a celebration of Danbury's diverse cultures and their customs, heritage and custom through traditional dances, workshops, music, art displays, and worldwide cuisine from local restaurant vendors and food trucks. Interactive activities and games will be suitable for all ages. Guests are encouraged to come to the event in the traditional attire of their represented country.
Many people who dress specifically for events such as this often have pictures taken during the festivities. These pictures may go to local Stationery printers to be used on personal Stationery or custom notecards.
Parking will be available at the Patriot Garage at 21 Delay Street.
Danbury International Festival will take place from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday, July 27th at the CityCenter Green, 1 Ives Street.
On August 21st through the 25th, the Green will hold the 3rd Annual San Gennaro Festival, a free 5-day event to benefit local churches, charities, youth organizations and food banks.
Headline end-of-the-week entertainment will include The Zoo on Friday, Beyond Purple on Saturday, and the Phil Engel Band on Sunday.
Hours will be Wednesday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
