A wine and cheese social is being planned near Avon, allowing area residents an opportunity to socialize and expand their personal and professional networks.
The Wine and Cheese Social is preparing to open its doors to guests between 21 and 39 for a classy social environment where young participants can begin building or expanding their social networks. The events are tailored toward young professionals in the Jewish community in a synagogue that has been serving the community since the 1960s.
Guests will have access to exclusive Kosher wines, cheeses, crackers, and fruits as refreshments throughout the social. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available to attendees who wish to abstain from consuming alcohol. Each ticket purchased will enter the participant into a raffle with the chance to win prizes. Flyer printing is a fantastic way to spread awareness of such events in the community by placing them on light poles and bulletin boards.
Advanced registration will be required to attend, and the social will be a professional networking event. Urban Dor is a volunteer-led organization committed to strengthening the Jewish community while providing opportunities for young professionals in the community.
The Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation Synagogue in nearby Simsbury will host the networking event on Thursday, March 27th, starting at 6:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available online, with reservations starting at $25 per person.
