Avon residents looking to learn about nature in New England will want to save the date, as a presentation is being organized in town.
The Wildlife Out Your Window presentation has opened enrollment online for Avon residents who want to learn more about the nature surrounding the area through photos, videos, and stories from presenter Brad Timm, a wildlife ecologist and author. The purpose of the event is to show Avon families that the wilderness of the area is as near as outside their windows.
In addition to the presentation, guests will have time to ask Timm questions related to the area’s wildlife and fauna. Attendees can expect to see the world around them in a different light after attending. Brochure printing can add to events like this by providing additional information to visitors related to the program.
Secrets delved into during the presentation will include how some foxes can climb trees, that bluejays are not actually blue, and that hummingbirds can flap their wings up to 200 times each second. The session is open to adults and children 12 and over.
The presentation will be held at 281 Country Club Road in Avon on Monday, July 27 starting at 6:30 PM. Registration is open online, costing $20 for attendees who want a signed copy of Timm’s latest book.
