Avon golf tournament to raise money for good cause

Golfers in Avon who want to make the most of the warm weather with quality time and friendly competition on the links are in luck, as a fundraising tournament is coming to a local golf club.

The 2026 Charity Golf Tournament will tee off this September, and golfers who intend to compete will want to head to the driving range to fine-tune their shots. The competition is open to both beginner and experienced golfers, with each participant helping to raise money for the Rotary Club of Avon-Canton and its charitable causes.

Golfers can trust that their registration fees will benefit local organizations and fund community events and scholarships. The tournament will be 18 holes, and participants will be served lunch and dinner. Banner printing is a classic way for sponsors to build brand awareness and a positive image at golf tournaments like this.

Organizers have also arranged for several raffles and contests, with winners being awarded prizes for their efforts. Golfers can sign up as individuals or as a foursome, and the tournament will be held at one of Connecticut’s best golf courses.

The tournament starts at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 14. The Golf Club of Avon will be hosting the fundraiser. Golfers can register online, with fees totaling $1,000 per foursome or $250 per individual golfer.
