Annual celebration brings community together
An evening of fun, festivities, and community is around the corner near Avon next month, providing area residents with an opportunity to celebrate making a difference.
The 2025 Governor’s Celebration: Guide Others Forward will be opening its doors to registered guests soon to celebrate 36 years of supporting the youth in Connecticut. The event will shed light on the work community members are doing to make a difference in the Avon area and honor these visionaries for their time and energy.
Attendees will get to see the impact these efforts have made in supporting young people in Connecticut in their pursuit of knowledge and higher education. The evening will also share insights on how guests can help build a brighter future for the next generations. Business cards are a professional way to exchange information with attendees at such events and can lead to positive first impressions.
The proceeds from the event will benefit the Governor’s Prevention Partnership, a non-profit organization based in Connecticut. Ticket holders are also able to make donations to the organization in addition to purchasing tickets for the celebration and dinner to make their mark.
The celebration will be held on Thursday, December 4 at 5:30 PM. It will be hosted by the University of Hartford in nearby West Hartford. Tickets can be reserved online starting at $125 per guest.
