Class teaches finer points of Thai cuisine in Avon

Foodies and cooking enthusiasts in Avon will have a special opportunity to compile new recipes and skills soon, as a cooking course has been announced in town.

The Thai Cooking Class, which is being led by Chef Soden Tek, is opening enrollment to those with an interest in cooking or who want to explore a cultural experience. The class will be a hands-on, immersive learning experience, allowing participants to prepare and cook their ingredients and make traditional dishes while sipping wine.

It is also an ideal setting where like-minded individuals can forge new friendships through the power of food. The class is open to interested parties of all skill levels, with Chef Soden Tek altering his teaching strategies to accommodate beginners. Organizers can use brochure printing to create comprehensive documents that provide instructions and recipes for use at home.

Students who participate will learn how to make dishes with authentic Thai flavors to enjoy at home. The class is expected to last for three hours, and students will receive an Elephant Trail as a keepsake to commemorate the cooking class experience. The experience can accommodate vegan and gluten-free participants.

The cooking course will be held at 85 East Main Street in Avon. It is set to begin at 10:00 AM on Sunday, February 8. Enrollment is open online, and costs $110 per student.
