An opportunity to explore options in higher education is coming to the Avon area in a few weeks, offering local high school students a chance to learn about local universities and colleges.
The SpringPath Spring 2024 College Fair is scheduled to take place in April, and area high school students are invited to attend to learn more about opportunities to further their education.
The event is a collaboration between local high schools and Farmington Gardens, with the purpose being to bring high school students and college recruiters together to expand the horizons of the area’s students.
Twenty high schools will attend, and area universities are encouraged to register. The college fair will bring students together to find career paths and degree programs that interest them. Universities registering for the event will receive a six-foot table with folding chairs and a white tablecloth to set up a station. The event will be held in a ballroom setting, and registered guests can enjoy a buffet dinner.
Farmington Gardens, Connecticut will host the college fair on Monday, April 29, at 4:30pm. Parking is free, and WiFi will be provided to all attendees.
