Many people would like to be able to interpret and understand how birds communicate, and attendees in a Loveland workshop will learn the basics of this.
The Bird Language Workshop will be introducing those who take part to how birds communicate between themselves and the world around them. It will take place at Rivers Edge Natural Area, located at 960 W First Street.
The facilitator for the session will lead the activity in a collaborative fashion, and everyone will take part in a brief group introduction to bird language before they break apart into smaller groups to get in some observation in earnest. Everyone will be encouraged to listen to what the feathered friends are saying.
While it will build on the Bird Language introduction offered in June, guests do not need to have been at that session to get involved. All ages are welcome to take part, but registration must be made in advance via Lovgov.org.
Birdwatching and other nature-based activities can be a fun way to get started in environmental stewardship. Field guides that include links to relevant websites such as iNaturalist can be prepared by a brochure printing company.
The Bird Language Workshop will help the public discover the words of the birds on Thursday, August 8. It will begin bright and early at 8:00 am.
