A conference for women in leading roles in law enforcement in planned in San Diego.
The Women Leaders in Law Enforcement® Training Symposium will bring police professionals together in an empowering and supportive environment, where individuals can learn from each other. Women in traditionally male, or male-dominated fields often face unique challenges that can be addressed at gatherings like this.
The Women Leaders in Law Enforcement (®WLLE®) is designed to help women connect with others, both men and women, who can help them succeed. As part of the effort, the symposium will feature training conducted by experts in their subjects, who will help attendees develop in their careers.
The theme of the 2025 symposium is “Lead with Purpose,” which highlights the need for purpose-driven, intentional leadership at all levels of policing. Purpose can keep people resilient, powerful, and energized, even when difficulties arise. Those who lead with purpose also inspire others.
Classes and training sessions include subjects such as “Surviving and Thriving After Traumatic Events”; “Shots Fired! Officer Wellness and Resilience”; and “Tactical and Critical Decision Making.” Other subjects include communicating during critical events, collaborative bargaining, and financial health and retirement planning.
Women Leaders in Law Enforcement® Training Symposium is scheduled for September 2 to September 5 at the Town and Country Resort, located at 500 Hotel Circle North. When organizers plan events like this, they might work with flyer printing to create agendas for attendees.
