Tribute bands rock San Diego

Four tribute bands will appear in San Diego and rock the city.

Gifted musicians, tribute bands give fans a chance to experience what a concert of the original group would have been like. The fours outfits coming to San Diego are Lies N Roses, Alice Insane, Oceans, and the Black Crowes Revival.

The Guns N Roses (GNR) tribute band, Lies N Roses, is an arena rock band. Lies N Roses are lifelong GNR fans and play their classic hits in the same way as the original, to give new fans the most authentic experience possible. They go into the GNR catalog to give true fans a deep dive into the material.

The Black Crowes were also an arena rock band, and the Black Crowes Revival recreates their performances exactly. They play the BC’s first two albums in their entirety.

Alice Insane is a tribute to Alice in Chains, one of the best heavy metal bands. The tribute band plays material from all parts of Alice in Chains’ catalog. Among the hits of this group are “Rooster” and “Angry Chair.”

Oceans is a tribute to Pearl Jam, one of the most influential of all hard rock bands. Their album “Ten” remained on the Billboard 200 chart for almost five years, earning a 13x platinum status. Their hits include “Yellow Ledbetter” and “Alive.”
