Paranormal Cirque II is produced by Cirque Alcatraz, and features a show that blends circus acrobatics with suspense and thrills, as it takes audiences on a journey into the paranormal world. In the weird Clown Castle of the tent, strange creatures, freaks, illusionists, and Acrobats of the Air gather to perform, making attendees think this is a “normal” circus. However, that is not the case.
The show, according to the cirque, is new, and offers:
“. . . breathtaking implications always poised between fun and the most uninhibited fear . . .”
as audiences are transported to a strange, dark world where frightening creatures live, demonstrating amazing circus art abilities.
Paranormal Cirque II fuses cabaret, theater, and circus, with the idea of the fantasies and nightmares that lurk in the twilight between sleep and dreaming. The show promises to surprise, amuse, and scare audiences. Due to its adult themes, the show been given an “R” rating.
Paranormal Cirque II will perform from December 8 – 11, under the orange-striped tent at Montgomery – Waller Park, 3020 Coronado Avenue in San Diego.
