Foodies are sure to have a great time at an upcoming event in America’s Finest City.
The 27th Annual Taste of Gaslamp is the city’s original tasting tour and, as the name implies, it will be held in the Gaslamp Quarter. The walk is self-guided, giving foodies, residents, and visitors alike a chance to stroll through one of San Diego’s iconic neighborhoods, and sample some of the best cuisine in the city at the same time.
The 2023 participants are still being finalized, but a look at past participants reveals some popular eateries like The Field Irish Pub, Saltwater, Rustic Root, Royal India, Rockin Baja Lobster, Saltwater, Panevino, Lumi, Greyston, the Gaslamp Tavern, and Café Sevilla.
The tour began in 1993 as a small dinner party in the Yuma Building, where local restaurants presented their best dishes. It has evolved into a major annual event that allows registered attendees access to all the participating eateries, where they can enjoy a leisurely stroll and savor signature small bites for as long as the event lasts. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create menus, maps, and other handouts.
