Legendary bands play San Diego

Two hard rock bands are coming to San Diego.

Guns N’ Roses and The Black Crowes will appear at Snapdragon Stadium soon.

Guns N’ Roses formed in Los Angeles in 1985, founded by Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns and Izzy Stradlin of Hollywood Rose. L.A. Guns were looking for a new singer, Stradlin mentioned Axl Rose, and Guns N’ Roses was born.

Their debut album “Appetite for Destruction,” which has sold about 30 million Copies, dropped in 1987 and climbed to the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart due to the tracks “Paradise City,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and “Welcome to the Jungle.” The group is known for its lengthy global tours. A review says:
“Axl Rose is the last of his kind; the Mike Tyson of Rock N’ Roll frontmen . . ."

The Black Crowes are a Southern rock and Blues band established in Marietta, Georgia, in 1989. Their debut album was 1990’s multi-platinum “Shake Your Money Maker.” Their breakthrough was one of the album’s tracks, their cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle.” They have appeared with Queensrÿche, Mötley Crüe, and ZZ Top. One fan said:

“There are few bands left today that still exude an air of pure rock and roll, and nobody captures that essence better than The Black Crowes.”

Guns N’ Roses and The Black Crowes will be at the Snapdragon Stadium on September 2. Events like this can benefit when organizers use poster printing to promote them.
