An upcoming event gives wine aficionados something to cheer about.
For the seventh year, Uncorked: San Diego wine festival is coming to America’s Finest City. People who attend will be able to sample more than 150 bubblies and wines from around the world, as well as some “outside the bottle” drinks. Other treats include popular food trucks from the local area, a photo booth, and a DJ.
Tickets will be sold in two tiers, General Admission and Early Admission. Early Admission tickets are priced at $80, and include admission one hour early, which promises to be a smaller group to enjoy tastings, and bonus pours from selected wineries. General Admission tickets are $65, and these ticket holders will be admitted at 2:00 pm. The event will close at 5:00 pm, and while wine tastings are included with the tickets, food must be purchased separately. Organizers of events like this often use flyer printing to list the participating wineries.
The event is a fundraiser for Urban Surf 4 Kids, an organization that uses life skills programs, mentorships, and surf therapy to heal and empower young people in foster care, or living in at-risk communities.
The festival is scheduled for April 8 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The location is Spanish Landing Park on North Harbor Drive. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and older.
