Last year, an event hosted at Mt. Hope Community Gardens was a big success, and the organizers are hoping that this year will be a repeat performance.
This San Diego project is seeking helping hands for its annual Garden Refresh, and the work will take place over two days. Sponsorship for the activity has been provided by Love Tito’s Block 2 Block initiative, and is part of a program that helps to feed the community.
The participants in the event will help to work on initiatives that have already been started, and new growing spaces will be created. The goal is to create a sustainable growing system, and both days will be split into two different shifts. Social distancing and other anti-Covid measures will be implemented, and there is no fee to get involved. It’s advised that everyone bring sturdy gloves and come dressed for the task at hand.
Usually, one of the jobs when organizing a function like this is to order customized certificates of appreciation to distribute to the volunteers. Stationery printers will be happy to help, and their staff can offer many design options to all customers.
These two days of TLC for Mt. Hope Community Garden will be on October 23rd and 24th. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available for the public to choose from. Get a Free Quote for Stationery
