A San Diego organization that works to protect the environment is turning six and is throwing a party.
Pure Project is concerned about the impact of human activity on the environment and that extends to the upcoming party. Organizers have a goal of having a zero-waste event by using sustainable materials, and recycling and composting as much as possible. Flyer printing could be used to create handouts explaining how to recycle at events like this.
Planned activities include a beer garden and food trucks, which will be situated in the parking lot. There will also be games, music, and more. At the Beer Garden, attendees will find unusual beers as well as enjoying specialty beer tappings. Pure Project will be selling bottled beer from their cellar, many of which will be available only at the party.
Protect our Winters will be the beneficiary of donations from the event. POW is a group of people including business leaders, creatives, scientists, and athletes who are passionate about the outdoors and are working to protect it from climate change.
The party is scheduled for January 29 at Pure Project Miramar, which is on Kenamar Drive. VIP Hour is 12.00 pm until 1.00 pm, with General Admission hours from 1.00 pm until 5.00 pm. The ticket also includes a commemorative 6th Anniversary glass, and four tokens for drinks. In addition, $1 from each ticket purchase will go to Protect our Winters. Although the event is being held in-person, COVID guidelines will be followed.
