Felix De Laet, who goes by the name Lost Frequencies on stage and when recording, had a mainstream hit in 2014 with “Are You with Me,” his remix of a track by Easton Corbin. Although he has been interested in music for a long time, De Laet did not really get into remixing until he bought his first computer. He began by trying trap beats and house tracks influenced by jazz, and was signed by Armada Music, Armin van Buuren’s label. “Are You with Me” was released on this label.
The single was an immediate hit, going to the top of the charts in Belgium, and then also hitting the No. 1 spot in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Australia.
