Fall Back Festival takes guests back in time

Anyone wanting to experience what life was like in the 1880s will have the chance to do so at a Wild West Bonanza early next month.

A three-block radius of the streets of modern day San Diego will be transformed into an Old West environment where the family will be able to roam the streets and gain a close-up perspective on life as the cowboys lived it.

The event, formerly referred to as the Gaslamp Quarter Fall Back Festival, lasts for only one day and there will be much to see and do. One of the attractions will be a quick-draw shootout at high-noon that is epitomized by many old Western movies. Another feature attraction will be the old-timey jail. Visitors will also be able to see various Forms of blacksmithing performed along the streets of the old town setting.

Event organizers and sponsors might benefit from Banners to aid in the presentation and explanation of feature attractions. There will also be demonstrations by costumed town folk on how to pan for gold. Children may also go for a pony ride.

Though the event is free to the public, some activities require a small fee. The event will be taking place a short drive from San Marcos, on November 6 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm, at 410 Island Avenue in San Diego.
