Executive search firm opens San Diego office

An executive search firm has opened eight offices in the last two years, and its latest opened recently in San Diego.

StevenDouglas chose San Diego for the location based on the demand of its clients, as well as the fact that the firm wants to strengthen the specialties handled by its growing technology division.

San Diego is becoming known as a hub for technology and technology companies. The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that 8.4% of all the jobs in San Diego were in technology, as compared to 4.8% overall in the United States. These numbers helped the company solidify its decision to move to San Diego, which is its first Southern California location. StevenDouglas will find both permanent employees and temporary staff members in a number of different specialties. In this regard, Swisher will effect permanent and contract placements of project managers, quality assurance testers, network infrastructure engineers, and software developers, among others.

Recently, StevenDouglas opened an office in Westchester County in New York, and last year it opened a location in Miami, Florida, as well as one in Jacksonville, Florida. It also acquired Tallience recently, a full-service technology consulting, staffing, and search firm in Fort Lauderdale.
