The Menzingers will appear at the Music Box on India Street to bring punk rock to their fans. The Menzingers formed in 2006 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. They have released six studio albums to date; the latest, “Hello Exile,” dropped in October, 2019.
The band has worked with a number of record labels whose executives all say the band is exceptional. Jesse Cannon produced “A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology,” their full-length debut album. Cannon noted that he works with bands on a daily basis, and most are:
“. . . missing something. The Menzingers have it all — the songs, the aggression, the heart, and the passion that most only dream of.”
When they signed with Epitaph Records in 2011, the label's founder, Brett Gurewitz, who was also a member of the band Bad Religion, said:
“These guys play the kind of pure punk rock that I grew up with. They are seriously talented songwriters . . .”
Fans agree. One review of a concert says:
“The Menzingers put on an awesome show, the band had great energy and I would 10/10 see them again!”
The Menzingers will appear on September 26, at 8.30 pm. The Music Box is a small club and most shows are standing room only, though occasionally shows are advertised as seated events. Poster printing can provide edgy advertisements for events like this.
