Talented cellist headlines outdoor concert

A series of small concerts with outdoor seating is returning for a second season, with Dirty Cello among the names lined up for this year’s edition.

Dirty Cello is a San Francisco-based band that has performed all over Europe and the US. The band brings a unique style to Americana, rock, and blues. The band is led by Rebecca Roudman who is an accomplished cellist in her own right.

A magazine, Good Times Santa Cruz, penned a review of the band where it said:

"The band plays every style imaginable, and does some fantastic covers. (Their rendition of “Purple Haze” is incredible.) But what is most spectacular about them is hearing the depth of soul in Roudman’s playing—it goes beyond what most people would expect from the instrument."

Highly acclaimed bands often have their own lines of merchandise, including T-Shirts and promotional Pens.

The show is scheduled for May 14 at SOMO Village in Rohnert Park, and doors open at 7:00 pm with the main event starting at 7:30 pm. Early-bird tickets are on sale for $35 until April 14, $40 tickets are available before May 7, and tickets at the door will be sold for $45. Dinner is available for an extra $20. The show is open to all ages and those who wish to be seated at the same table must purchase group tickets.
