Rohnert Park event features handmade goodies

For Rohnert Park residents, the upcoming Black Friday weekend promises presents with a more personal touch than one might expect elsewhere. The 37th Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Faire will offer two days of local, handmade items.

The faire has been a long-running fixture in the community, bringing an array of eye-catching work from all over the surrounding areas. Visitors will be able to find knit goods, local fashion designers, wood carving, and custom-built furniture, jewelry, glasswork, art, and other gifts. Prices are set by the vendors, and cards will not be accepted in most cases, so attendees should bring some cash along.

All items sold at the booths must be handmade by the vendors themselves. No commercially or mass manufactured goods, secondhand items, or outsourced works will be allowed. In addition to the business Forms to register for a booth, all vendors must supply three pictures of their merchandise. Spots are still available for local crafters and artists who are looking for an opportunity to increase their profile in the community.

The Holiday Arts and Crafts Faire will take place on November 25 and 26 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. at the Rohnert Park Community Centre, located at 5401 Snyder Ln. Admission is free to the public. Anyone interested in more info should contact the city directly.
