Rohnert Park asked to help those affected by Lake County fires

Saint Vincent de Paul of Sonoma (SVDP) has put out a call to families, individuals and businesses in Rohnert Park to lend a hand to those who lost their homes in the Lake County Fire that recently occurred in the state.

The organization has been working with the SVDP of Lake County to provide disaster relief to those who were impacted by the blazes. The group noted that is has been able to provide funding to assist in providing meals, shelter, and other necessary items to people who lost their homes, and it is now moving on to the second phase of disaster relief.

During this phase of the recovery efforts, the organization will be helping people to get into a permanent home, which they noted will help to return them to their regular daily lives. To do this, helpers will be utilizing the SVDP House in a Box initiative, which supplies household essentials such as beds, bath towels, kitchen utensils, and more to replace those that have been lost and get people back on their feet.

All the items will be new, and anyone who would like to see how the funds are used will be able to do so. Business Forms and other customized paperwork can help to maximize the impact of a donation drive such as this and allow it to run smoothly.

This fundraising drive is currently running, and anyone who would like to make a donation, learn how they will be used, or has any questions, can contact SVDP of Sonoma through its website.
