A popular store that provides merchandise for Halloween is now open in Sonoma County locations, including Rohnert Park.
Spirit Halloween has opened three stores in the Rohnert Park area, including one in the city itself. The popular chain is only open for a few months of the year, and focuses exclusively on Halloween costumes, decorations, and accessories, stocking thousands of unusual or downright creepy items. In addition to providing specialty items for the holiday, Spirit Halloween sponsors the “Spirit of Children” program, during which its stores collect donations for children in various hospitals throughout the nation.
According to Spirit Halloween, the company has raised $55m through this program since 2007. The Child Life effort provides funds for pet therapy, aquatic, music, and arts programs. The money also allows for the purchase of toys and educational items that are used to distract children as they are undergoing medical procedures. Spirit Halloween has partnered with 141 hospitals in Canada and the United States, and 100% of each donation goes directly to the Child Life Department at these institutions.
The Rohnert Park store has opened at 6591 Commerce Boulevard, which is near Planet Fitness and Auto Zone. There are also two stores in Santa Rosa, one on Santa Rosa Avenue, and the second on Guerneville Road. Flyer printing is often used to create publicity handouts in situations like this.
