Turtle Bay Exploration Park is currently celebrating the season with Redding Garden of Lights, and will be seeing out 2022 with two new year celebrations.
Redding families are already enjoying the venue’s 10 acres of immersive lighted displays and other illuminations in the Redding Garden of Lights. Over one million lights have been used to create the displays, plant-themed and wildlife exhibits.
Amenities include holiday-themed gifts, food, and drinks. Guests may warm themselves at the fire, make s’mores, and sing old and new holiday songs.
Companies occasionally give monetary Corporate Gifts to organizations that produce light shows to help defray expenses.
Adult tickets are $22; children, senior and veteran tickets are $15; and children under five years old are getting in for free.
Later in the month, a fundraising New Year’s Eve at the Garden of Lights will be for guests over 21. Each end of the gardens will have a live music act, and the venue will offer food stations and multiple bars. A heated lounge will be available thanks to Redding Heating & Air.
Tickets are $50 each, and the event will be on December 31 from 8:00 pm to midnight.
Children and those wishing to celebrate earlier may enjoy the park’s Noon Year’s Eve Party. New Year’s resolutions will be shared, party hats will be constructed, and confetti countdowns will be at 11:00 am, 11:30 am, and 12:00 noon on December 31.
