Talk on nature of happiness comes to Redding

Redding’s Timbre Theatre is hosting a unique lecture that combines elements of stand-up comedy and science, dissecting what it means to achieve human happiness from comedian and author Anthony Poponi.

As a happiness expert, Poponi hosts everything from leadership and business workshops to help elevate team cohesiveness to keynote speeches. His stage shows often incorporate his personal journey to finding happiness as well as sharing what he has learned about human happiness, in general.

Poponi is the founder of Focus on the 40, a firm that specializes in providing team-building exercises for businesses. He is also the founder of Humore.us Productions, which focuses a bit more on Poponi as a stand-up comedian, stage talent and emcee.

As part of his current tour, Poponi has also hosted various performances around Oregon, particularly in Portland and Bend, the latter of which is his home. He also volunteers with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bend as a Board member.

In terms of his workshops, they often focus on personal development, identifying what elements of life are under our control and redirecting our energy into optimizing those aspects.

Educational shows like this may choose to use brochure printing to create audience programs and participation event lists.
