Three events that support causes have been scheduled for Redding over the next couple of months.
The 1st Tyson Wacker Memorial Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament is first up. The mission of the fund is to provide financial support for North State student athletes. Foursomes will play 18 holes with activities.
The tournament will take place on Friday, August 30 from 7:00 am to 10:00 am at Gold Hills Golf Course, 1950 Gold Hill Drive.
The Gold Hills Golf Course will also host the Cronic Disaster's 21st Annual Golf Tournament in mid-September. Proceeds will go to Pathways to Hope Catalyst Mentoring Program.
Registration will begin at 7:00 am with the tee time at 8:00 am on Friday, September 20.
Finally, the free 3rd annual Classics 4 A Cause Car Show welcomes all varieties of classic and newer motorcycles, trucks, and cars. Netsound will provide the music, storm troopers will be meeting with attendees, and raffle tickets, beverages, and food will be available. Local businesses often contribute Promotional Products to charity raffles.
The beneficiary, Wings of Angels, has a mission to aid families dealing with childhood cancer, and will receive all the proceeds from the event. The Sundial Bridge will conclude the event by being lighted in gold.
The 3rd Annual Classic 4 A Cause Car Show will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 21 at Everything Medical Home Medical Equipment and Supplies, 2376 Athens Avenue.
