The Active 20-30 Club of Redding will hold its Redding Lighted Christmas Parade 2021 in early December.
Retail, commercial, civic, fraternal, and faith group-sponsored floats as well as vintage, commercial and vehicle group autos, motorcycles, equestrian units, and solo riders will be parading down the main streets of downtown Redding. Elementary, Jr. High, and high school drum majors and majorettes will head school bands playing Christmas music continuously along the route. Santa will be bringing up the rear.
All entries will be adorned with some type of holiday lights and go along with this year’s theme, “Christmas through the decades.”
Awards will go to the winners of three categories – use of theme, creativity, and lights. Trophies will be awarded at the end of the parade at the awards ceremony.
Float registration will be open until November 25th. Four sponsor levels are available, which are Santa’s Friend ($100), North Pole ($250), Rudolph Lead ($500), and Top Elf Trophy ($700).
Businesses often sponsor events such as this in order to take pictures of the event to Print shops as part of their advertising campaigns.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Active 20-30 Club of Redding in its efforts to offer free events for families and kids in our area.
The 2021 Redding Lighted Parade will step off in downtown Redding, December 4 at 6:00 pm.
