Redding SME owners and hopefuls helped with seminars

Those who run small businesses like printing company franchises, and those who are thinking about getting a small business of their own, are invited to attend an upcoming JEDI seminar early next month here in Redding.

This four-part seminar will be titled ‘It’s Your Business: How to Start or Expand Your Business’.

Topics to be covered include creating a business that reflects the owner’s dreams and values, developing, marketing, business planning strategies, research, managing finances, and using technology in marketing.

This will be the first installment of the four-part series that will be presented in April and May. The instructor for this event will be Linda Fitzgerald, who is the owner of a local small business and an entrepreneur.

Cost for the event will run from $60 to $120, and the Women’s Fund of the Shasta Regional Community Foundation has scholarships available for women entrepreneurs.

Attendees will want to get their digital Business Cards updated as soon as possible to ensure that the information they will share with others at the event will be accurate.

The event is scheduled for April 2 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Shasta Venture Hub, 4300 Caterpillar, Redding. Some arrangements may be made for those with disabilities if made at least two weeks in advance
